Iowa graduates started the week at Yonkers Raceway with a pair of wins. In race two at Yonkers Raceway on Monday (10/12), Frisky Pedro (Joe Bongiorno) left from the five-hole, getting away fourth on the rail.  Past the half, Bongiorno pulled to challenge the leader, Roll With Dom (Jason Bartlett).  Still sitting second as they topped the stretch, Frisky Pedro sprinted down the lane for the win, pacing in 1:56.3.

On Wednesday (10/14), CR Blazin Beauty was assigned the two-hole in race nine, the Open I at Batavia Downs.  As the gate folded, CR Blazin Beauty (Ray Fisher, Jr) sat patiently in third.  As the trotters raced to the three-quarter pole, CR Blazin Beauty pulled to the outside.  Taking over the lead, CR Blazin Beauty trotted home victorious, in 1:57.2, last quarter in 29.4.

Another Iowa grad received an assigned post at Yonkers Raceway on Thursday (10/15) in race seven; the Filly and Mares Open Handicap.  With the seven-hole assignment, Snobbytown (George Brennan) pushed the gate out of the way to take the lead.  Setting the pace in 27.2, 57.0 and 1:24.4, Snobbytown held on to place third , her mile in 1:52.0.
