Oh Toodles got things rolling for Iowa graduates on Monday (10/5) at The Meadows.  Dan Rawlings drove Oh Toodles straight out of the gate, in race nine, to take the top.  Cutting the mile in 28.0, 58.1, 1:26.3, Oh Toodles was in complete control as he crossed the finish line, mile in 1:55.1, last quarter 28.3.

Tuesday (10/6) at The Meadows, Brianna’ Shadow took the track in race eleven.  Starting from the three-hole, Brianna’s Shadow (Jim Pantaleano) left quickly, leading the field to the quarter-pole.  With the mile going in 27.4, 58.4, 1:26.4, Brianna’s Shadow paced home in 29.1 to capture the win, her mile in 1:56 flat.

In the Filly & Mare Open Handicap race eight at Yonkers Raceway, Snobbytown was assigned the six-hole, on Thursday (10/8).  With George Brennon in the bike, Snobbytown darted out of the gate to take the pocket trip behind My Ruebe Star N (Jordan Stratton).  With horses parked to her outside, Snobbytown had to wait until the stretch for traffic to clear.  As the wire neared, four horses battled for the lead, all separated by only a head.  Snobbytown hit the board for second place by a nose, the mile in 1:54.1.
