On Wednesday (12/13) at Hollywood Casino At The Meadows, Juxta Millionare (Jerry Kehm) had post-position seven in race five, NW1EXT, $9000.  Drifting off of the gate, Juxta Millionare was just content to sat in eighth as they raced to the three-quarters.  With a brush down the lane, Juxta Millionare paced the quickest last quarter of the race to finish third, his mile in 1:58.1.

 

I Turn Heads (Brady Jenson) competed from the five-hole in race eight, FMNW2EXTPM, $10900.  Cruising out to sit in the pocket, I Turn Heads waited until the lane to make a move.  Holding off the field, I Turn Heads turned in a 1:56 flat mile, winning for owner, trainer, driver Brady Jenson.

 

CR Dudley (Rick Harp) had the four-hole at Monticello Raceway, NW600PSL5, $5400.  Fifth to the half, CR Dudley pulled behind fading cover, finding himself double parked seventh as they raced past the three-quarter pole.  Fifth at the top of the stretch, CR Dudley was in full gear, blowing by the leader for the win, pacing in 1:57.1.

 

At Dover Downs on Thursday (12/14), Imoutthedoor (Anthony Morgan) drew the seven-hole in race thirteen, WO9000L5, $17000.  Charging out of the gate, Imoutthedoor shut the door to the rail as he secured a pocket trip behind Sweet Angel Boy (Pat Berry).  Second as they turned for home,  Imoutthedoor couldn’t make up ground but held on for place, pacing in a brisk 1:52.4.

 

Over at Hollywood Casino At The Meadows, in race two FMNW1EXTPM, $9000, Airmans Jackpot (Tyler Stillings) had the seven-hole.  Seventh at the quarter, sixth at the half, Airmans Jackpot pulled behind cover, sitting parked fifth as they raced to the three-quarters. Fourth at the top of the lane, Airmans Jackpot trotted her last quarter in 29.2 to finish second, her mile in 1:59.3.

 

Sneaknthruthenight (Brady Jenson) had post-position five in the next race, CDCLMNW2, $6700.  Sent out of the gate, Sneaknthruthenight snuck in behind Trifecta Hanover (Justin Walters) to sit second around the track.  Still second as they raced the last turn, Sneaknthruthenight picked up a second place check, pacing in 1:57.0 for owner/trainer/driver Jenson.

 

Race seven featured CDCLMW1NW2, $7000, with Hankscoltfortyfive (Brady Jenson) in the three-hole.  As the gate folded, Hankscoltfortyfive got away fifth, staying in position until the half.  With a brush to the front, Hankscoltfortyfive took over the lead at the three-quarters.  Still up at the top of the lane, Hankscoltfortyfive went head to head with U Going (Jack Killeen) as they paced for the wire.  With a mile in 1:55.2, Hankscoltfortyfive hit the board for place for Jenson.

 

Gumbolaya (Chris Lems) had the rail in race twelve, NW2EXTPM, $10900.  Getting away third, Gumbolaya sat in position as they raced around the track.  As they raced for the finish line, Gumbolaya picked up third place, pacing his mile in 1:55.4.

Over at Rosecroft Raceway, Freddie Faves (Declan Donoway) drew the five-hole in race four, MPNW3000CD, $6500.  Fifth at the quarter, fourth at the half, Freddie Faves worked his way up to third as they passed the three-quarter-pole.  Not able to gain ground, Freddie Faves managed to grab a third place finish, pacing in 1:54.3.

 

Friday (12/15) at Cal Expo, Iowa trotters competed in race four, NW2EXTPM, $5300.  Omaha Storm Chaser (Nick Roland) had the two-hole and TSS Hot House (Luke Plano) the five-hole.  Charging from the gate, TSS Hot House was on fire for the lead, parked out first as they passed the opening quarter with Omaha Storm Chaser chasing second.  Gaining the rail, TSS Hot House took the field to the top of the lane.  As they sprinted for the finish, TSS Hot House and Omaha Storm Chaser crossed the line head to head.  In the photo it was Omaha Storm Chaser with the win for Wilda McDanel, trotting in 2:02.2 and TSS Hot House second for Brett Erickson.

 

Hunky Dory (Luke Plano) and Lulu Hoop (Nick Roland) also went head to head in race five, FNW1EXTPM, $4000.  As the gate folded, Hunky Dory sprang from the six-hole to take the lead, with Lulu Hoop following right behind her from the five-hole.  Cutting the mile in 28.4, 59.0 and 1:29.4, Hunky Dory was up by a length as they turned for home.  As Lulu Hoop tried to make up ground, Hunky Dory hung on for the photo win, pacing in 1:59.1 for Van Otterloo Stables, and Lulu Hoop picked up the second place check.

 

What Cheer (Nick Roland) had the rail in race nine, FMNW1001-4, $3500.  Second at the quarter, What Cheer was pushed back to fourth at the half.  Third from the three-quarters to the finish line, What Cheer paced her winning mile in 1:58 flat for owners Royal Roland and Roger Roland.

 

In the next race, Brooklyn Moonshine (Luke Plano) had post-position five, FM4-5000CL, $4000.  Sprinting from the gate, Brooklyn Moonshine captured the lead and did not look back.  With fractions of 28.1, 58.1 and 1:28.3, Brooklyn Moonshine was up by three lengths as they rounded the final turn.  Hitting the wire in 29.0, it was all Brooklyn Moonshine for the win, pacing in 1:57.3.

 

Sunday (12/17) at Cal Expo, Dance Traveler had the rail in race five, TMR<72, $4000.  Fourth to the half, Dance Traveler pulled to make a run to the front.  Parked first at the three-quarters, Dance Traveler held a length lead, looking for the wire.  Trying to hold on, Dance Traveler was announced second in the photo finish, pacing his mile in 1:56.2 for owners Alan and Cheryl Sandbulte.

 

At Hawthorne Raceway, Fillister Photo (Casey Leonard) had the five-hole in race eleven, FMTMR<73, $4000.  Fourth at the quarter, Fillister Photo pulled to the outside.  Parked fourth at the half, Fillister Photo kept charging on, positioning herself for a stretch charge.  Third as they turned for home, Fillister Photo was in full gear as she paced for the finish line.  When the photo was posted, Fillister Photo was declared the winner by a neck, pacing in 1:55.2 for Scorpio Stable.

 

Not having to beg for a good positon, Beggintobefrisky (Billy Davis Jr) drew the rail in race fifteen at Northfield Park, FM225000NW4, $8800.  Cutting the mile in 27.4, 57.0 and 1:26.0, Beggintobefrisky was feeling frisky, looking strong as she race around the half-mile track.  With the field behind her, Beggintobefrisky was alone at the wire, picking up the win in 1:55.4.
